Exhibit B: The Sunshine & Shadow scarves I was hot for way back (a few months ago) that have now re-surfaced at Bird and Barney’s Co-Op
Exhibit C: The American Apparel circle scarf I purchased on Sunday and am wearing with anything and everything
Exhibit D: A psychedelic rainbow cake, executed by Seth & me last week in honor of Lizzie’s birthday
All evidence points to the fact that I am totally taken with tie-dye.
I can’t help asking why, seeing as I thumbed my perky nose at it for so very long. Perhaps these dreamy colors and seemingly random patterns are a visual antidote to gloomy times, financial and weather-wise. Maybe they’re emblematic of embracing uncertainty, a new and adaptive devil-may-care attitude (however forced).
Whatever the reason, I’m in deep.
